These card reader hubs seem pretty great, we have a few of them. I guess the goal is to have two secure copies of the cards on set so one can be sent back to the office for ingest/editing, and one can be on set as a backup. When the cards come back to our office, we've got a solid workflow, but sometimes we do shoots far away or overseas where the cards can't come back to the office, and these have to be copied on set. I've been given 3 macbook pros and told to come up with a solid workflow for ingesting cards on set. In the past we've always just hit cmd+c and cmd+v to copy cards to hard drive, but we are looking to step it up a wee bit. Looking for something more local?
